Professional Pickleball Player Quang was signed to the PPA in late 2023 and earned his first silver medal at the 2024 Houston Open. He has defeated numerous top 10 players, including Ben Johns twice in 2024. Currently ranked #7 in the PPA Men's Singles.

Hailing from Torrance, CA, Quang Duong has quickly risen through the ranks after getting his pro pickleball start in the Selkirk Emerging Pros Program. Now, the 18-year-old is part of the Selkirk Elite Pro roster, achieving huge success over the past year alone. Quang was signed to the PPA in late 2023 and earned his first silver medal at the 2024 Houston Open. He has defeated numerous top 10 players, including Ben Johns twice in 2024.
Prior to a career in pickleball, Quang came from a decorated tennis background as a Blue Chip recruit on Tennis Recruiting and the B16’s Orange Bowl Champion. Not only did Quang train in tennis, but he also has a background in paddle tennis and swimming. When he’s not competing in the US, Quang is helping to grow the game of pickleball in Asia.
Known as “Avatar” by his tennis friends, Quang Duong played his first-ever pickleball match at the PPA Tour’s Atlanta Open in May 2023, you will also see him playing alongside his brother Bao who goes by “Nitro”. Duong was a top-ranked ITF junior tennis player and a world-class paddle tennis player who won multiple singles and doubles titles at the age of 15. Just a few short months after bursting onto the pickleball scene, he entered the Top 20 in the PPA Tour singles rankings. Duong’s goal is promoting and expanding pickleball in Asia and giving back to his people in Vietnam. He is sponsored by Selkirk and plays with the Power Air Invikta paddle.
