Stephanie Lane

Pickleball has become a passion for Stephanie since 2011 when she picked up the paddle again after first learning about it in her college days in the late 80’s at Lipscomb University. 

Stephanie has enjoyed an accomplished career in Pickleball consistently winning tournaments that have included: 

•2012 USAPA Nationals IV: 35+ women’s singles gold

•2014 USAPA Nationals VI: Silver in 35+ mixed doubles with Steve Wong

•2015 USAPA Nationals VII: 19+ mixed doubles gold with Kyle Yates

•2017 USAPA Nationals IX: 35+ mixed doubles gold with Dave Weinbach 

•2018 US Open III: 45+ mixed doubles gold with Dave Weinbach 

•2019 US Open IV: 50+ mixed doubles silver with Johan Svensson 

•2019 National Senior Games: 50-54 women’s doubles gold with Yvonne Ting & mixed doubles silver with Jeff Carlson in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

•2020 Texas Open: Gold in senior pro mixed doubles with Dave Weinbach 

•2021 Pickleball Hall of Fame Championships: Gold in 5.0 50+ mixed doubles with Mircea Morariu

•2022 PPA Red Rock Open: Gold in mixed senior pro doubles with Dave Weinbach 

•Consistently finishing in top 7-10 places in Margaritaville USA Pickleball National Championships & Minto US Open Pickleball Championships in senior pro mixed doubles with Johan Svensson 

Today Stephanie enjoys competing as a senior pro or teaching clinics on many weekends and serving as an IPTPA certified instructor, regional director & master teaching professional. She loves co-chairing the Pickleball Hall of Fame Nominating Committee with Hilary Marold.

She considers some of her favorite accomplishments to include being the first-ever sponsored Paddletek player, being named the 2020 Co-Pickleball Rocks Player of the Year along with Riley & Lindsey Newman and being inducted into both her high school and college Athletic Halls of Fame. Her newest sponsorship partner is Pickleroll which is revolutionizing court availability everywhere!

Since 2012 @ Nationals, she has enjoyed using the offensive lob as a weapon to get my opponents off the “winning line” (NVZ) which gives her and her partner the advantage! She hopes you can learn to utilize it as well!

She has been married to her best friend, Andy, for 32 years and together they have 21 year old LeEllen who now plays pickleball at the 5.0 level.
